Kicking off graduation week at UOW

More than 15,000 people will converge on the University of Wollongong's main campus for the summer graduation season which kicks off today.

About 3300 students will graduate during the 13 ceremonies held over five days including three night-time sessions today, tomorrow and Monday.

They will include the first graduates of the Bachelor of Digital Media - which is run in conjunction with TAFE Illawarra - and the first cohorts to graduate from the Bachelor of Science (Indigenous Health) and the Bachelor of Education - The Early Years.

Graduates' names will be published in the Illawarra Mercury over the coming week, as well as plenty of stories and pictures to celebrate their achievements.
