Fish markets across the Illawarra have extended their trading hours to accommodate demand for Christmas seafood.
"It's been crazy," Harley and John Seafoods employee Charles Bonanno said yesterday.
"The shop is busy with customers and orders, but a lot of the time it's about educating the customers on what's best. Rather than just selling the fish, we give ideas on how best to cook it."
Fresh Fish & Poultry Market at Dapto Mall is open to 6pm today.
Harley and John Seafoods at Fairy Meadow will be open until 5.30pm today.
Seafood Fresh at Figtree Westfield will be open until 5.30pm today.
Kondakis Seafood in Corrimal will be open until 6pm today.
Harbour Side Fish Market Wollongong will be open until 4pm today.
Stockland Fish Market Shellharbour is open until 5pm today.
Aish's Seafood and Takeaway, Berkeley Harbour will be open until 6pm today.
