Officers were called to the address at 3.50pm on Saturday to accompany a 24-year-old male to a mental health unit.
Upon their arrival the man barricaded himself inside the caravan and threatened to kill anyone who attempted to enter, police claim.
Negotiators and state protection support unit officers were deployed and the area cordoned off.
About 8.35pm the man left the caravan and was arrested without incident.
No charges were laid.
