The child dialled triple-0 after she couldn’t wake her mother about 7.15pm.

 Lake Illawarra police were first to arrive at the house on Wegit Way. The child answered the knock at the door and let police inside.

Officers found the woman semi-conscious and placed her in the recovery position until paramedics arrived. 

She was later taken by ambulance to hospital.
