Photographer Martin Regan captured the spirit of the Port Kembla Billy Cart Derby with his shot of two children racing down Wentworth Street on November 17, when the event returned to Port Kembla after a 25-year absence.
Regan's photo, pictured right, is the $500 second-prize winner in the event photography competition.
Klaus Doering won the $1000 first prize; with an entry by Kim Gralton awarded third ($250).
The winners' work and another 50 entries will be displayed at the Red Point Gallery, 100 Wentworth Street, Port Kembla.
The exhibition will be launched on Saturday from 6pm-8pm, and continue until January 26.
