Police are looking for a bandit with a sweet tooth after a man stole chocolate during a petrol station robbery at Batemans Bay yesterday morning.

About 12.20am, a man working at the petrol station near Hughes Street and the Princes Highway was approached by a man wearing a balaclava.
The petrol station worker was threatened with a rifle and forced to hand over cash and cigarettes. The offender then stole two bags of chocolate before fleeing the scene.
Police attended the scene. They are now searching for the man, who was wearing a full-face balaclava, dark clothing and gloves. It is believed he was picked up in a car that was parked nearby.
