'Sweet-tooth' bandit robs petrol station

Police are looking for a bandit with a sweet tooth after a man stole chocolate during a petrol station robbery at Batemans Bay yesterday morning.

About 12.20am, a man working at the petrol station near Hughes Street and the Princes Highway was approached by a man wearing a balaclava.

The petrol station worker was threatened with a rifle and forced to hand over cash and cigarettes. The offender then stole two bags of chocolate before fleeing the scene.
