Following a scheduling clash which meant both the region’s elite sporting teams were due to play at the same time, the clubs have moved to form a double-header branded ‘‘Friday night live’’ on March 15.
The Hawks have changed their starting time to 6pm for the crucial clash against fellow play-off contenders and bitter rivals the Sydney Kings.
It will be the second last round of competition and the game could have a major impact on which team finishes higher on the ladder. It could even determine the Hawks finals chances.
The game will be followed by the Dragons’ battle with the Brisbane Broncos in round two of the NRL season.
Fans can buy discounted individual and family tickets for both games, which will allow them express access to WIN Stadium after the Hawks game to ensure they do not miss kick-off.
