There will be no buck-passing on the tough questions when Illawarra Labor politicians from the three tiers of government face the people they represent tomorrow.

Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba has called on residents to bring their concerns to the table and promises the right person will be on hand to assist.
"We believe the general population doesn't always realise the differences between the three levels of government and who is responsible for what," Cr Saliba said yesterday.
"To an individual in the community, all politics is local."
Cr Saliba will join state Labor MP Anna Watson and federal Labor representative Stephen Jones to "bring all three levels together in one place at one time to meet with the community".
"Residents can come and bring their ideas and concerns to the three of us, meet with the three different levels of government in one hit," Cr Saliba said.
"People often talk about going to local government with a problem and being told it's a state issue - they feel like the buck is passed. We will all be there so there is no buck-passing."
Cr Saliba said she expected concerns about rates to be an issue and expected questions about the growth of the region.
The federal election could also rate a mention, and unemployment remained a huge issue for the region, she said.
The forum will be held at Warilla Community Health Centre, Benaud Crescent, from midday. Ms Watson and Mr Jones will host forums in Dapto and West Dapto with Wollongong City councillors Chris Connor and Ann Martin.
