Symbio hosted a visit by Miss Deaf World last year, which led to the Helensburgh zoo featuring on Miss Deaf World's website as a must-see attraction for deaf people.
It featured photographs of then Miss Deaf World, Ilaria Galbusera, of Italy, enjoying an encounter with native animals while in Australia as a judge for Miss Deaf Australia 2012.
The visit was arranged by John Radnidge and Michelle Aldred to give deaf club members and Ms Galbusera something more intimate than larger zoos offer.
Mr Radnidge said the park would host a similar, "more local" visit next week.
