McLean’s performance at WIN Entertainment Centre will be the first stop on his 11-show tour of Australia.
The folk singer is best known for his iconic hit from 1971, American Pie.
However, he has released many other classics including Vincent, Driedel, and The Legend of Andrew McCrew.
Australian country music singer Catherine Britt will join McLean on his tour of Australia, performing at all shows except Rockhampton and Tweed Heads.
Ms Britt has enjoyed success throughout both Australia and the United States, having spent six years in Nashville, Tennessee.
She has previously toured and recorded with the likes of Sir Elton John, Kasey Chambers, and Paul Kelly among others.
Tickets go on sale on April 29.
