Ambos warn: Beware school kids

NSW Ambulance has urged motorists to be on the lookout for children as most students return to school today.

During the first four weeks of term one of last year, paramedics treated at least 26 children who had been hit by vehicles before and after school for cuts, grazes, fracture and head trauma, including a 12-year-old child who sustained a back injury after being hit by a car.
