After an extensive voting process, the school has replaced its uniform of a white polo and bottle-green shorts with a jade-green top and navy bottoms - a ‘‘very smart’’ look according to principal Dorothy Cass.
‘‘Because we do a fair bit of sport and painting and have a sandpit, it was hard to keep the white shirt nice and white. Quite a few people asked if we could change,’’ she said.
Students are able to wear the old uniform until the school makes a full transition to the new garb.
The P&C also bought new hats that feature the school’s logo for all students.
