Ms Foreman, 31, was killed when a blaze ripped through her Corrimal home in the early hours of October 27, 2011.
Her body was discovered near the entrance to her upstairs bedroom.
Three co-accused, Woonona man Bradley Max Rawlinson, 40, Bernard Justin Spicer, 31, from Whalan, and Michelle Sharon Proud, 28, from Eastern Creek, were committed to stand trial over the murder in June last year.
The trio sat quietly in the dock of a Wollongong courtroom yesterday as members of the 12-person jury were empanelled.
NSW Supreme Court judge Justice Ian Harrison then explained to jurors their responsibilities in determining the case.
Crown prosecutor Chris Maxwell, QC, is expected to deliver opening submissions today.
