Endeavour Energy crews were on site at Belmore Basin trying to fix the problem, which also caused traffic lights to black out at Kembla Street near Bourke Street and Corrimal Street near Gipps Street.

An Endeavour Energy spokeswoman said power to all but six premises was restored at 10.21am. Those six premises were at Belmore Basin and they had power back on by 11.30am.
