Breakthrough4Business business coach Steven Dixon helped the Wollongong Small Business Club kick off a big year.

He advised local businesses on how to focus on achieving their goals in 2014.

On February 4 at Villa D'Oro, Mr Dixon talked about one simple strategy that can help companies double or treble their customer base and boost their bottom line.

There were 110 business owners and managers present to hear him speak at the Small Business Club meeting at Villa D'Oro.

After that, Mr Dixon spoke at Illawarra ITeC on the same subject.

The networking body program continues with Victoria Hansen speaking about content marketing and business success on March 4, Rob Salisbury will cover the topic of motivating your mind and spirit on April 1, and a speed networking night will be held on May 6.

Other meetings are scheduled for: June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2, October 14 and November 4.

Breakthrough4Business hosts another boot camp at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach this Friday and Saturday.

The guest speakers include digital marketing director Jeff Yang, leadership consultant Tarran Deane, entrepreneur Justin Teoh and wealth consultant Mark Robinson.

Mr Dixon also invited Lube Markovski of Hairhouse Warehouse to attend and speak about his approach to business and the secret to his success that allows him to operate so many franchises.
