Streakers, navy choppers landing on the field, cold beer, hot-potato tries - just another typical day at the Kiama Sevens.
The state's most popular rugby Sevens tournament was staged for the 41st consecutive time on Saturday at Kiama Showground and served up its usual feast of entertainment.
Fijian sides provided no end of highlights, often keeping the ball in hand rather than kicking, relying more on flair and creative instinct to rack up tries.
Red Rock Fiji won the prestigious Cup final with a 17-12 defeat of Yamaica Fiji.
Host club Kiama beat Wollongong Uni 19-10 in the Country final, while Tribe 7 accounted for Warringah 22-14 in the Plate final.
Manly thrashed Canberra Oz Boks 39-0 in the Bowl final and Tribe 7 won the women's Vase final on a countback after a 7-7 draw with NSW Barbarians.
"It was a fantastic day. The rugby was of a very high standard," tournament co-ordinator Mark Bryant said.
A navy helicopter arrived with the trophies in the afternoon, a moment captured by a few hundred iPhones.
A few streakers couldn't help themselves - which had spectators reaching for their phones again.
Australian Sevens coach Michael O'Connor was an interested spectator, though he was only there for the rugby.
"O'Connor spotted eight players to add to his squad," Bryant said.
"He said the standard in Sevens tournaments has gone up right across the board because players want to be in the Olympics."
