Students turned up in droves to this week's O-Week festivities, which included a pool party on Tuesday and a movie screening last night. Since Tuesday, entertainment and information stalls have been set up on the Duck Pond Lawn.
Samanta Shiwakoti, of Nepal, on Wednesday gave the paintball stand a whirl, while other students were more interested in giving the pop-up rock climbing wall a go, or simply taking some time to catch up with friends on beanbags.
The celebrations conclude tonight with the O-Party at the UniBar, the first student party of the year, with music from Glass Towers, Hot Coffee and Keyes.
There have been serious tasks to attend to as well, with new students attending orientation days throughout the week. The new semester begins on Monday.
