He will go job hunting, socialising and exercising in the same outfit, until Easter next month.
The Corrimal man said he wanted his mission to be worthwhile and to involve sacrifice.
"It's about who you are, not what you wear," he said.
"I'm trying to raise awareness and help those less fortunate."
But that does not mean he will give up hygiene.
The 29-year-old is washing his shirt every night and jeans every three days while in his pyjamas.
So what else would he recommend giving up?
"Something you use quite often," he said.
"It could be clothing, jewellery, chocolates or coffee.
"Maybe instead of going out for dinner, the money could be donated to others."
Although he is single, he does not think wearing the same outfit will hurt his chances of finding a girl.
"At least she'll get to know my personality and know me for who I am and not what I have," he said.
