Tim Sheens would be a perfect solution for the Warriors after they sacked Matthew Elliott this week.
While there's no doubt Sheens enjoys being Australian coach, he's at his best being a week-in, week-out coach and mentor and would bring the structure and discipline the New Zealand club needs.
Sheens has done it all in the game and right now the Warriors need an experienced hand to sort out their problems, rather than continue the roller-coaster ride which happened before and after Ivan Cleary was at the club.
It's been mentioned in the past about the players wanting Tony Iro in charge but it's a dangerous thing letting players have too much say.
Someone like Sheens would be able to bring out the best in the Warriors - there's no doubting how much talent they have when they get it right.
