Her business idea, Screen Weaver, is a product support system using videos which, once fully developed, would provide support, information and warranty advice through a mobile phone application.
The concept was one of the first to be accepted into the iAccelerate business incubator program last year, and Ms Pouye eventually hopes to start working with international manufacturers and retailers to develop product guides.
"Ultimately I want to bring manufacturing dollars back to Australia, because we will go over to overseas manufacturers and they will pay us to support their products," she said.
Before being accepted into iAccelerate last year, the Horsley resident was thinking about leaving the Illawarra to gain support for her idea.
"I was working on my own and I was going to go to Sydney because of the lack of opportunities," Ms Pouye said.
"But iAccelerate has made a huge difference - because you can't underestimate what it means to have other people around to support you."
