RAAF to fly over Wollongong

The Royal Australian Air Force will conduct tactical-formation flying training over the Illawarra on Thursday morning, with up to six of its C-130J Hercules aircraft.

The Hercules will depart in pairs from RAAF Base Richmond between 7.30am and 8.20am, and conduct the training over Central West NSW before rejoining as a single formation south-east of Cowra.

The formation will then fly towards the coast via Kiama, before heading to Sydney, passing over Wollongong.
