Mrs Papac said the sixth annual presentation was shaping up to be a celebratory day of fun, recognition and entertainment which would start from the moment guests were welcomed to the Portofino by TIGS performing arts students.
Once they take their seats, former St Mary's Star of the Sea student Katherine Arkele will officially open the proceedings in song.
During the awards there will be entertainment by some of the cast from Legally Blonde: The Musical giving a sneak peak of the show running at the WIN Entertainment Centre on July 4 and 5.
"We have had a record number of finalists. This year's finalists really did make it difficult for the judges. They were literally splitting hairs."
Natalie Viselli will be guest speaker. She started her career at IRIS Research, then joined the Department of Communications in Canberra to encourage engagement in the digital economy, particularly by small business and non-profit organisations.
The former IWIB Young Business Woman of the Year is now one of the department's representatives at Parliament House.
She is a former national president of the Junior Chamber International and a former president of the Illawarra chapter.
Tickets can be booked at iwib.com.au.
