The man was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Barrack Heights home about 8am on Tuesday.
During a search of the property, police allegedly seized a firearm, ammunition and clothing they said were linked to the incidents.
The man was expected to be charged on Tuesday evening and appear in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.
The offences relate to an aggravated break and enter at Scarborough on April 3, an aggravated break and enter and abduction at Balgownie on April 16, and the armed robbery of Kiama Bowling Club on Saturday night, during which a shot was fired.
Wollongong Inspector Kevin Bale said it was a good result but investigations were ongoing.
