Police are searching for a knife-wielding thief who held up a Towradgi service station on Sunday night.

Wollongong police inspector Dan Richardson said the robber entered Freedom Fuels on Towradgi Road about 11.50pm, threatened a 24-year-old shop attendant and took off with cash and cigarettes.
“The 24-year-old male handed over the items requested and suffered no injuries,” Insp Richardson said.
The thief took off into the night with another man, who is believed to have been waiting outside the store.
Both men were last seen running in a southerly direction along Carters Lane.
The first man is described as Caucasion with a slight accent, 165 to 170cm tall, and of medium build.
He was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark pants with two white stripes and was wearing a black and white mask.
He was also carrying a pink and grey backpack
No description was available for the second man.
A Freedom Fuels employee told the Mercury the victim was "shaken up" following the ordeal.
The employee said CCTV footage was being reviewed.
