The May instalment of the bimonthly variety event is titled Eat It, taking audiences on a food-themed journey through music, comedy, dance and more.
Hanz Der Chef, a character of local performer and magician Ben Bryant, will MC the evening, as spoken word poets, burlesque performers and an aerialist take over the Military Lane venue.
“There is a lot of talent in the Illawarra, and it’s great to have an event like the Vault where people get the opportunity to show what they do,” Mr Bryant said.
“Performers will bring friends, it’s often a melting pot of talented people and groups.”
Jazz trio Oxford Groove, dancer Isla View, comedian Regan Kerr, spoken word artist Zohab Khan and more will light up the night, with food from French-themed food caravan Sarazine La Creperie.
Louise London, who will perform a set of 1950s-inspired aerial acrobatics, said such evenings allowed audiences to be exposed to, and enjoy, performances they might not have seen before.
“It’s a chance to find something new that you may never have thought you would like,” Ms London said.
“Last time I performed, I met an amazing spoken word poet. I’d never seen that before, it was very inspiring.”
The Vault Cabaret is on Saturday night.
Tickets available at the venue from 6.30pm, with doors opening at 7.45pm.
