The first breakfast, at City Beach Function Centre last year, was so successful the organising committee decided to make it an annual event after more than 170 people attended.
Committee member Wayne Morris said the second event was almost booked out.
Other members of the committee are Itree director Hengki Widjaja, Dads4Kids chief executive Warwick Marsh and Illawarra Prayer Advocate Rod Denniss.
Mr Morris expects close to 250 people this year, including many business and civic leaders from a broad array of churches.
The purpose of the event is to bring Christians together from across the region to pray for the Illawarra and each other.
