Isn’t it ironic we have three freshly painted disability parking spots, a platform specifically made for disability access – and a bridge suited to only the fit and able to get to that platform. Very useful that.

I have lived in the area from around 1958 when we did have a perfectly accessible station. All we had to do was cross the road.

Then someone had a bright idea.  Build a bridge and block the road. That really improved access.

Solution? 

Simple. Get rid of the bridge. No problems with lifts and the issues they bring. 

Cheap and cheerful.
