Susan Sarandon keen for Thelma & Louise sequel
Actress Susan Sarandon has given film fans even more hope that there’s a Thelma & Louise sequel in the works by revealing she’d love to work with co-star Geena Davis again.
The two stars reunited for a day out recently and sparked rumours of a professional reunion by posting a ’selfie’ of them together.‘‘I’d love to work with her again.
They had kind of knocked around ideas for a sequel for Thelma & Louise but they were so ridiculous. I remember saying, ’What would we do?’ And they said, ’You’d collect a big cheque!’ ’’ Sarandon says.
‘‘I don’t know how you would resurrect them. I mean, I love Geena. It was great to see her. We had a nice day together. But at the moment I don’t know what that would be. It would have to be something sitting down because when we stand up she’s a foot taller than I am. That’s why the car (in Thelma & Louise) worked because we were kind of on the same level sitting in it. I’m shrinking and she’s still six foot one (inch).’’
In the final scene of the 1991 road trip movie, Sarandon and Davis’ characters were seen driving over a cliff as they attempted to escape the law.

Levine got down on both knees for proposal
Adam Levine lost all his confidence when proposing.
The Maroon 5 frontman got engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo in July last year.
The 35-year-old recalled how his normal self-assured attitude deserted him in that crucial moment.
‘‘Doesn’t matter how certain you think you are. You still get down on that knee and you just get woozy and you’re like, ’I’m doing this. Oh my god,’’’ he explained during an appearance on US TV show, Live! with Kelly & Michael on Monday.
‘‘And you can’t be confident about it. It’s impossible. I’m a confident person, but I got down on that knee and everything changed immediately.’’
Levine began dating Namibian Prinsloo in May 2012 but split in March last year.
However the couple reconciled shortly after, but the ups and downs of their relationship could have been why the singer got so nervous that getting down on one knee didn’t seem to be enough.‘‘I lost my equilibrium. I had to get on the other one,’’ he said.
‘‘I remembered one thing about it, and I’m not going to share most of it because that’s for me obviously. But the one thing that I will say is that I did say at one point, ’Both knees. Like look, I got on both knees.’ And it didn’t sound charming at all. Both knees and she’s like, ’what?’’’
After overcoming his proposal equilibrium, Levine and his 25-year-old fiancee are now in the thick of wedding planning. Their nuptials are reportedly taking place next month at a beach side location in Los Cabos, Mexico.
