Shellharbour CIty Council has been working with the State Emergency Services to clear the damage caused to properties by the strong winds.
To assist residents clear their yards of fallen branches, the council will accept tree branches and other plant debris at no charge until Sunday, July 6.
Proof of residency will need to be shown to staff at the weighbridge. Grass clippings will not be accepted.
The Dunmore Waste and Recycling Centre will be open 8am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday and 7.30am-4pm weekdays.
Meantime, the Minnamurra depot will accept green waste from residential properties free of charge up until Saturday, July 5.
