The accident happened shortly after 5pm at the intersection of Squires Way and Elliotts Road.

There were early reports of people trapped in vehicles but, when emergency crews arrived they found everyone was out of the cars.

Ambulance officers were on scene but all drivers and passengers declined transport. 

The accident has blocked both northbound lanes on Squires Way and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
