When you do, Brad Davies wants you to think of someone less fortunate than yourself.
Mr Davies, of Three Chimneys cafe and bar in Wollongong, is running a fund-raiser to benefit the homeless. Coffees at Three Chimneys have gone up in price by 50¢ for July, and the cafe will match each purchase with 50¢ of their own, for a total of $1 from each drink purchase to aid food programs in the region.
"Once we've accumulated the money, we'll invest it into feeding the homeless every week in August," Mr Davies said.
"We're matching whatever the community raises. It will raise coffee prices, which might stir up some patrons, but it's going to a good cause."
Mr Davies has contacted numerous local refuges, shelters and church groups, and is negotiating how best to work together. Through the month, with donations of $1 per coffee, he estimates cafe patrons could help raise up to $7000.
"Someone told me about suspended coffee, where someone will buy a coffee but then donate money so someone else can come and get a free coffee. It's a good idea, but in winter people need to fill their bellies too," Mr Davies said.
"If you buy one coffee a day, it will be an extra $2.50 a week, or $10 a month."
Mr Davies has urged any other charity groups to contact him about how to help in the fund-raiser.
