A 16-year-old has been charged with a string of offences after he allegedly led police on a 47 minute police chase while driving a bread delivery van.

Police pursued the stolen van from Wollongong to Engadine before it stopped in Valley View Crescent, which is a cul-de-sac.
Wollongong police inspector Brian Wyver said officers attempted to deploy road spikes to stop the van.
It is alleged the van was stolen from Mercury Street in Wollongong at 6.15am on Wednesday.
The boy was charged with stealing a motor vehicle, Skye’s Law, driving in a dangerous manner, exceeding the speed limit by more than 30km/h and being in possession of a knife.
