Another Splendour in the Grass act are in doubt for the Byron Bay music festival which kicks off next week.
Northern Irish band, Two Door Cinema Club, have had to cancel some upcoming UK shows as lead singer Alex Trimble is sick.
‘‘It is with a heavy heart that we are going to need to cancel our upcoming shows at Latitude and Bournemouth Academy.
Alex collapsed at Seattle airport on the way to London and has been hospitalised with a chronic stomach complaint,’’ the band posted on their Facebook page.
‘‘We are devastated to have to cancel shows that we were so looking forward to. We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time. Love TDCC x,’’ they said.
The band haven’t said whether or not this will affect their upcoming trip to Australia to perform at Splendour, their only scheduled gig while Down Under.
This comes after Nashville act, The Wild Feathers, revealed earlier in the week they were pulling out of the festival due to scheduling conflicts.
Australian band Mt Warning have been drafted in to play the Nashville band’s slot. Two Door Cinema Club are due to headline the Amphitheatre at Splendour on Saturday July 26.

Hawkins dons Hi-Vis for J-Bronze range
She’s been photographed in every outfit and swimsuit imaginable. But this may be the first time Jennifer Hawkins has donned Hi-Vis for the camera.
The Australian supermodel and professional poser put on her best worksite pout for a long-shot selfie inside a factory producing her Jbronze self-tanning range.
The pic, which Hawkins posted on her Instagram page, showed the 30-year-old in one of the aisles, surrounded by massive boxes piled high to the roof.‘‘Wow. Such a proud, pinch me moment. jbronze factory.... definitely one of my fave places. #SexyNeonHmmNo’’ Hawkins wrote in the accompanying caption on Wednesday.
If the scale of the storage site is anything to go by, the Myer ambassador’s J-Bronze business must be booming.
The snap of Hawkins, who last week sold her and husband Jake Wall’s multi-million beachside home in North Curl Curl, in Sydney’s north, garnered quick praise for her outfit from her Instagram followers.
‘‘Hi vis is the new black,’’ wrote one.Another follower speculated on what was really in all those boxes.
‘‘Finally stored your clothes neatly?’’Hawkins launched Jbronze last year, and travelled to Indonesia last month for a sun-kissed photoshoot promoting the range, which includes body mousses, creams, sprays, and a shimmer illuminiser.
The former Miss Universe Australia also recently launched the 2014/2015 summer range of her swimwear brand, Cozi.

Goodrem gets spacey with universe tweets
Delta Goodrem may be best known for being a pop star, but recent Tweets suggest she’s also shooting into the realms of being a space geek.
The 29-year-old Australian songstress tweeted a link to an article on Thursday in which NASA scientists say it’s highly likely we aren’t alone in the universe.
The story, by The Huffington Post, referenced a panel discussion at the agency’s Washington headquarters this week, where space experts talked about the search for Earth-like planets that host life.
‘‘I think in the next 20 years we will find out we are not alone in the universe,’’ NASA astronomer Kevin Hand said in footage filmed at the talk.It isn’t the first space-related post from Goodrem, whose Twitter profile describes her as ‘‘A Child of the Universe’’ who is ‘‘sitting on top of the world’’.
On Monday, the The Voice Kids mentor retweeted a Science Porn snap of astronauts in space watching the FIFA World Cup final between Germany and Argentina.‘‘That’s cool,’’ she wrote of the photo, which garnered more than 7000 retweets.

Sia’s album goes No.1 in the US
It’s a win/lose day for Aussie pop stars in America as Iggy Azalea’s reign at the top of the US Billboard hot 100 has finally come to an end, while Sia takes the top spot on the album chart.
Azalea has been at No.1 in the singles charts with her song Fancy for seven weeks in a row but Canadian pop/reggae group MAGIC! have managed to push back the rapper to No.2 with their song Rude.
However, Sia is keeping the Aussie flag flying with her first No.1 album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which Billboard reports has sold 52,000 copies in the week ending July 13.
This is actually the lowest sales figure for a No. 1 album since Zac Brown Band’s Uncaged sold 48,000 in August, 2012, according to Billboard.
