A man has been charged after a break-in at an aged care facility and armed robbery at a service station at Nowra over the weekend.

A premise on Wallace Street in East Nowra was broken into on Saturday and a man, who had his face concealed, ransacked a room before fleeing the facility when confronted by nursing staff.
On Sunday a man produced a knife at a service station on Kalander Street, East Nowra.
Police said the service station employee armed himself with a baseball bat and the man ran away empty handed.
On Monday police searched a home on Kalandar Street, East Nowra and arrested a 44.-year-old man.
He was charged with assault with intent to rob armed with offensive weapon, aggravated enter dwelling with intent and goods in custody.
He was refused bail and will appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday.
