Corrimal Chamber of Commerce president Paul Boultwood said an estimated 47,000 people attended last year's event, showing that people wanted to connect with their community.
"Need A Feed is a home-grown initiative which serves a real purpose in the community and encourages people to consider others," Mr Boultwood said.
"Donating an item of non-perishable food is easy, doesn't place a large burden on anyone but can achieve so much good."
Spring Into Corrimal will be on September 13 and this year will feature three entertainment stages and more than 200 market stalls.
