The annual event is hosted by the Illawarra Innovative Industry Network (i3net).
It is trying to find opportunities for engineering and industrial firms in the region and retain skills.
i3net executive officer Tony Green said an impressive line-up of procurement managers were coming for the three day event.
They include delegates from NSW Public Works, South 32, ANSTO (Australian national Nuclear Research and Development Organisation), The BRAGG Institute, Navantia, Heron Resources and Lend Lease.
Mr Green said Navanita was the biggest contingent.
‘’They have three representatives covering life support, procurement and maintenance,’’ he said.
Heron representatives are from the Woodlawn Zinc-Copper Mine.
The showcase starts with the i3net board hosting a welcome dinner on Tuesday.
Wednesday starts with an industry tour to the Innovation Campus, WGE, Ringway, Thomas & Coffey, R.Stahl and Fibre Optics Design and Construct.
It is followed by an industry dinner in the Western Grandstand.
On Thursday there is an industry breakfast, expo and presentations by delegates.
