Staff at Ray White Kiama got a surprise on Wednesday when pro-surfer Sally Fitzgibbons popped in to say thanks to real estate agent Michelle Lay for selling her Minnamurra home. Her property at 169 Charles Avenue Minnamurra sold late last month for $1.1 million. Sally’s management handled negotiations with Ms Lay, so it was a surprise when Sally and fiancee, former St George Illawarra player Trent Merrin arrived unannounced at the Kiama office. “She walked in with a huge bunch of flowers and a bottle of Moet,” Ms Lay said. “She said she wanted to come in and personally say thank you. It was a lovely surprise.”
