The 69-year-old male driver and his wife were injured in a crash on the Old Princes Highway about 11.10am.
The crash occurred in the southbound lane.
The driver’s side of the couple’s car took the brunt of the impact. The man suffered chest injuries and back and neck pain.
His wife, aged 60, suffered bruising injuries.
The driver of the second car is believed to have minor injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics have transported all three people to Wollongong Hospital.
