The girl – believed to be aged in her early teens – was treated for facial injuries and taken to Wollongong Hospital, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.
She is also understood to have abrasions to her hands and knees.
The accident happened on Northcliffe Drive, near the intersection of Lake Heights Road, about 3.40pm on Wednesday.

Emergency services are at the scene of the accident on Northcliffe Drive, near the intersection of Lake Heights Road.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle about 3.40pm
“We’re currently on scene assessing a female patient, believed to be in her early teens,” the spokesman said.
It is understood the girl has sustained facial injuries.
