Macy, 15, was born profoundly deaf, but that has not held her back in any way as a successful hip-hop dancer.
The Year 10 student is great at feeling the beat and said the Vibratronic dance floor being used by Ables at the Grand Hotel on Friday night was a great way to do that.
She said it added to the dance experience for her.
“I think this is a brilliant idea,” she said.
“I couldn’t wait to try it out.”
Macy is the star of a new Sony wireless speaker global marketing campaign and her dancing is being seen around the world.
When those behind Ables became aware of the young Calderwood star recently they invited her to come and try the vibratronic dance floor.
She brought along her younger brother Cruz and friends Ibby Ozkara, Dominic De Pasquale who all tried it out and loved how they could feel the music.
