Play based on letters sent to Lindy Chamberlain shines light on 1980s Australia

When Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton was released from prison in 1986, she returned to a house full of letters. There were boxes of them, everywhere – in the garage, on the veranda, along the walls of the living room. They were in the bedrooms, the bathroom, and stuffed into 14 filing cabinets, along with all the masses of files related to her trial.
