Council has set aside $45,000 in its 2016/17 budget for another two sculptures in the project to be installed near park equipment at Boonerah Point.
The works must allow for flexible use and creative, imaginative play while also being visually bold and respond to unique characteristics of the site, place and people.
“These artworks should help to create a sense of vibrancy and activity in the area,” said Mayor Marianne Saliba.
“We want to encourage interaction with the sculptures and inspire a greater sense of pride in our local area.”
In May, Lizzie Buckmaster-Dove and Robert Nancarrow were commissioned to create the a fifth sculpture in the project at Pelican View Reserve.
