After seven years in business as a beautician Tina Jovanovski has opened a hair salon to complement her Oh Darling Beauty skin and beauty bar in St Johns Avenue, Mangerton.

Mrs Jovanovski made the decision to expand when a hair salon in the same complex was vacated by the previous owner.
She has done a complete fit-out and employed two staff to run Fluxx Hair Boutique located just around the corner from Oh Darling Beauty.
Mrs Jovanovski now has a team of six and the reason she decided to expand was that many clients like to see a hairdresser and beautician on the same day.
“Both hair and beauty go well together,” she said.
“When that became vacant it gave me this opportunity. I did accounts before I got into beauty almost eight years ago.”
She said having both salons located next to other at a site with easy parking made good practical sense so she thought it would also make good business sense.
Fluxx Hair Boutique has now been open for four weeks and she said many of her clients were taking advantage of the packages she was able to offer by running both businesses.
Mrs Jovanovski said not being in a shopping centre meant she could also open after business hours on more than one night. With the demand leading up for formal season and Melbourne Cup Day she said both businesses were likely to be open several nights a week in coming weeks.
