Nowra police have charged a 67-year-old man with 45 alleged child sex offences after a five-month investigation.

The investigation started in June after allegations of sex offences against a young child.
During a search of a home in Nowra in June police seized computers, thumb drives and other storage devices alleged to contain as many as 500,000 child abuse images and videos.
The man was arrested at the house and was charged with sexual intercourse with a child under 10, two counts of using a child under 14 to make child abuse material, and possessing child abuse material.
After ongoing investigations by Child Abuse Squad detectives, the man has now been charged over an alleged 46 further offences.
These included seven counts of using a child under 14 to make child abuse material and 32 counts of possessing child abuse material.
The man was scheduled to appear in Nowra Local Court on Tuesday.
