An ankle injury suffered in the first quarter of Illawarra’s victory over the Breakers on November 20 kept the talented American sidelined for the Hawks’ memorable 89-85 triumph over Perth on Sunday night.
It was the club’s first win in Western Australia for 11 years.
Speaking after the win, Hawks coach Rob Beveridge was confident his leading scorer would be back on court for their round nine match against the Breakers.
"I think [we will play]," he said.
"He was very close to coming over here.
"He is just going to get more treatment at home.
"He would be over here three days but back home he can get conditioning and daily treatment.
"I expect he will be back at practice on Tuesday."
Harris is averaging 14.6 points per game.
