Earlier:
Southbound motorists are stuck in a traffic jam of eight kilometres after an accident at Yallah right on peak hour this evening.
Emergency services said the 5.30pm prang involved four cars, and paramedics were treating one woman on the scene.
The site had been cleared by 5.50pm, however heavy traffic was stretched back past the Kanahooka Road exit, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
A diversion along Masters Road, through Warrawong and Windang to Shellharbour Road was also advised.
