President Roger Summerill spoke of the success of many member businesses at the recent IMB Bank Illawarra Business Awards and singer songwriter Greg Champion from the Coodabeen Champions had everyone laughing and spoke of the talent, humour and business acumen of his local friend in the region Colin Buchanan.
He spoke of how he used to visit him when Buchanan lived at Helensburgh before moving to Engadine and how the two produced two Aussie Christmas albums under the name of Bucko and Champs.
Champion concluded by singing his biggest selling song “I Made a Hundred in the Backyard at Mums”.
