On Wednesday, the tight Terralong Street overpass claimed its latest victim when an Isuzu truck found itself wedged underneath.
The truck was travelling along the busy CBD thoroughfare when its driver defied low-clearance warning signs about 2.30pm.
The overpass is fitted with flashing lights and a 3.4-metre low clearance sign.
Many onlookers were seen snapping pictures of the driver’s public predicament.
Traffic was able to pass the stuck truck using the road shoulder.
In July, a visiting bus driver also had an up-close-and-personal encounter with the overpass when his bus got stuck.
On that occasion, passers-by stopped to offer advice on how to free the bus.
