Local rugby league fans will get the chance to see some of the region’s best young talent in the form of five games of representative football against the Bulldogs at WIN Stadium on Saturday after extreme heat caused the postponement of all junior rep fixtures last weekend.

Round two of the NSWRL junior representative competitions kicks-off with the Illawarra Steelers Harold Matthews Cup (under 16s) team taking the field at 10am, followed by the first hit-out for the Steelers Tarsha Gale 9s outfit at 11.15am.
The Steelers SG Ball team hit the paddock at 12pm before a combined St George-Illawarra Dragons NYC/Illawarra Cutters squad will take to the field in a trial hit-out.
The Cutters full squad will then take on the Bulldogs at 3pm in a second trial fixture.
For the Cutters the likes of Kalifa Faifai Loa, Shaun Nona, Siliva Havili, Hame Sele, Luciano Leilua, Tyrone McCarthy and Jacob Marketo will be looking to press their claims for an NRL start come round one.
