She said she was eager to build on Big Fat Smile’s vision to create a braver, brighter and more creative world and wants to help the organisation achieve its mission as a respected provider of programs, care and support services supporting the well-being of children, families and the community. “Big Fat Smile’s core values of integrity, courage, respect and imagination deeply resonate with me. I am passionate about providing services to families, particularly early education and care services of the highest quality to every child and family in our community and firmly believe these values are integral to achieving this.”
“I want to ensure these values continue to come to life through the amazing work of our Big Fat Smile employees and the commitment and care of our families,” she said.
Ms Hutchins said children and families in communities across NSW are the focus of the organisation.
“We understand and value the supreme importance of children developing lifelong friendships and a love of learning, both of which are driven through child led, family centred education and support practices. I feel deeply privileged to be leading Big Fat Smile. It is important that families and children receive leading the quality services. Providing services to the benefit of every child and family we serve, is an honour”.
Big Fat Smile chairman David Campbell welcomed Ms Hutchins saying the appointment filled him with great confidence.

Jenni is an integral addition to this team, bringing with her a wealth of experience in early education and care. We are privileged to have someone of her calibre and expertise leading our organisation to deliver our vision and mission. With Jenni at the helm, the entire Big Fat Smile team is getting on with the job, delivering early education and care services of the highest quality, to benefit the children and families in the communities we serve.”
